NEW CARAVAN RECORDINGS!
Caravan is preparing to do two recordings this month. First off they will be recording a live show at the Brink Lounge, in Madison, Wisconsin, on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Friends/fans are invited to come down and listen/be a part of the recording process. A week later the band will return to Audio for the Arts and work again with Steve Gotcher to record their second full-length studio release. Some highlights planned for the recording will be new arrangements of Brazil, Bolero Blue, Besame Mucho, and more. Also included will be the use of the Maccaferri classical-style gypsy guitar on some Latin-influenced tunes. Watch for more details about this upcoming winter/spring release.

UPCOMING GIGS
Caravan has been busy hitting the road this past summer--including well-received shows at the Park Theater (Hayward, Wisconsin), and at ArtStreet (Green Bay, Wisconsin). In September they are gearing up for the Riverfront Jazz Festival in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, as well as other local performances in Madison.
